The Kitchen Porter is responsible for providing the restaurant with clean china, tableware, cookware, and all other equipment needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Clean and wash all kitchen equipment, pots, pans, china, silverware, and glasses using the dishwasher as appropriate.
- Properly store all kitchen equipment, pots, pans, china, silverware, and glasses.
- Deliver and properly store all stock from receiving department.
- Deliver product and stock to food outlets.
- Clean floors in the kitchen area and cookers.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Class O license.
- Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, customer service, and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
