Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the financial records and accounts of our cleaning company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This role is critical to our financial management and requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and accounting software. Experience with QuickBooks, or similar, and general accounting is needed.

Responsibilities

- Record and maintain all financial transactions, including journal entries, debits and credits, and account analysis.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, including account reconciliations and accruals.
- Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning, including forecasting and variance analysis.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Utilize accounting software to manage and report financial data.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proficiency with accounting software.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, including budgeting, financial planning, and accounting principles.
- Experience with journal entries, debits and credits, and account analysis.
- Experience with payroll processing and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify areas for improvement.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
