Coordinator II, Project Management (PM)

The Coordinator II, Project Management (PM) will coordinate projects and administrative tasks in supporting daily project activities for the Project Management department.

Project Management (PM) interfaces between the client, operations, and business development to cultivate strong relationships, obtain repeat business, enhance the scope of current projects, or identify new projects successful completion with the highest quality and expedience.

PM is responsible for coordinating the entire project and ensuring deadlines are met and that the project stays on budget.

Shift : 1st M-F 8AM-5PM

Location : Bloomington, IN 100% onsite

The Role :

• With guidance, establish and maintain effective customer and internal relationships; Gain insight into internal and external customer needs by asking questions and sharing information with others.
• Support project management staff by facilitating project logistics and processes; Coordinate scheduling, budgeting, change orders, development of presentations, metrics, and internal teams to help ensure project completion.
• Manage project plans, cell line licensing agreements, storage agreements, and long-term stability; Support client interaction by taking and driving action items;

Assist with onsite client visits

• Support of JD Edwards contract management and SOX business compliance
• Identify aberrant data and potential quality / compliance concerns escalating to management; Collaborate with peers and demonstrate leadership capabilities in a matrix environment.
• Other duties as assigned

The Candidate :

• High School / GED required; Technical Certificate or higher preferred
• GMP experience preferred
• Ability to use Excel, Word, Outlook and other office systems required
• Ability to receive and provide instruction, guidance, and direction from / to others; Uses existing procedures to solve routine and non-routine problems;

Ability to follow and provide a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Ability to communicate effectively and follow / retain detailed written and verbal instruction in an accurate, timely, safe, and professional manner with supervisor, group members, and other departments as necessary;

Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to manage time effectively to complete assignments in expected time frame and independently seek out additional work when tasks are completed ahead of time
• Detail oriented with ability to work effectively under high pressure with multiple deadlines; Ability to process a large volume of work;

Ability to effectively carry out and implement change.

Safety and Environmental Requirements :

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen,

reaching with hands and arms, talking, writing, listening.

Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, carrying, grasping.

Frequent lifting and / or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and / or moving up to 50 pounds.
