Opportunity to join a contract manufacturer that use heavy machinery to meet their clients' needs to make medical devices used to save patients' lives.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with engineering team to develop robust, production-ready designs
• Lead the process and manufacturing engineering efforts autonomously for a machine-shop environment that's constantly adding new lines and business opportunities
• Develop and maintain bill of materials, line layout, production control methods, clear assembly instructions, fixtures, and pFMEA’s
• Plan, conduct and execute pre-production builds, with a vision for volume production

Experience Required

• 5 years’ experience in a heavy-machinery manufacturing environment (medical device and/or CNC is a plus, but not necessary)
• Previous hands-on experience building, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electro-mechanical systems/devices.
• Knowledge of component forming processes, assembly processes, and production line optimization
