Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all maintenance activities within our organization. Your primary goal will be to ensure the efficient operation and functionality of our facilities, equipment, and systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise Maintenance Team: Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.

2. Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance schedules, plans, and procedures to ensure timely and effective maintenance activities. Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruptions to operations.

3. Equipment and Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and facilities. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with maintenance standards.

4. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment. Schedule and track routine inspections, maintenance tasks, and repairs.

5. Troubleshooting and Repairs: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the maintenance team in diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions and breakdowns. Coordinate with external vendors or contractors when necessary.

6. Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the maintenance department budget. Monitor expenses, control costs, and recommend improvements for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, repairs, and equipment performance. Generate reports on maintenance metrics, equipment reliability, and downtime analysis.

8. Training and Development: Identify training needs for maintenance staff and organize training programs to enhance their skills and knowledge. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the maintenance team.

9. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards. Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns promptly.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training is preferred.

· Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing, industrial, or facility maintenance setting.

· Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, procedures, and techniques.

· Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

· Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.

· Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or similar software.
