Job Description

In this Project Manager role with FAAS, you will play a crucial part in coordinating and ensuring the smooth execution of projects following the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You will collaborate closely with multiple SAFe release train engineers, fostering effective communication and alignment across teams. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring that all contractors and stakeholders are working cohesively towards shared goals.

As the Project Manager, you will serve as the central point of contact, facilitating seamless information flow and decision-making. You will proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and drive continuous improvement within the project management processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between SAFe release train engineers and cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Manage project documentation, including status reports, risk logs, and project plans.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment for the project team.
  • Continuously improve project management processes and practices.

Required Experience/Skills

  • 4 years of experience working within a SAFe environment, preferably as a Project Manager or in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects within the financial technology or related industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Jira or similar project management software.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP).
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum frameworks.
  • Knowledge of financial industry regulations and compliance requirements.

Education: BS Degree or Relevant experience.

Pay & Benefits: This is a contract opportunity paying $60 to $75 per hour based on experience. We offer competitive benefits while on assignment.
