We are seeking a VDC Coordinator to join our dynamic and energetic team. This role is responsible for working with construction project teams in the creation of Building Information Models and Virtual Design and Construction methodologies.

What you’ll do : Ensuring integrity of project drawings and maintain privileged information as per customer and company requirementsWorking with the Project Team to develop accurate and complete modeling drawing setsCreating construction drawings from scratch when necessaryRevising existing construction drawings as needed by the design managersMaintaining a tracking log of drawings that are created / revisedEducating project teams and clients about the benefits of Virtual Design and ConstructionUnderstanding, promoting, and implementing Virtual Design and Construction processes and technologiesRunning the multi trade coordination for clashes to assist project team with the design processCollecting and processing various 2D documentation and 3D models for design coordinationProviding insight into new time saving methodologies related to technologiesTrimble layoutModeling electrical systems from underground to above groundUtilizing software for design, coordination, and programming such as : AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, Trimble, BIM 360, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, BobCAD, CAM Software, Dynamo or equivalent script authoring software Who you are : Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in Revit or 3D AutoCADMinimum of 3-5 years of general electrical and underground experience associated with installation and modelingExperience with MEP drafting coordination process programsOverall electrical experience Who we are : We are a family owned company, one of the largest specialty contractors in the US, dealing in the power and transportation markets.
