RequiredEducation and Credentials:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer application skills.
- Crisis Intervention Certification within three months of employment date and renewed at least bi-annually for the first year and annually thereafter.
- BLS certification. If the BLS is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), then AHA certification is due within three months of employment date.
- Either NA1 or NA2 (if NA2 must maintain valid NA1 listing)
Nurse Aide II: Listed with the Nurse Aide Registry at the NC Division of Facility Services and the NC Board of Nursing.
PreferredWork Experience:RequiredNo previous experience required. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in basic aspects of job within three months of employment date.
