MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Maintenance Coordinator

Hours: Part-time or Full-time hours bi-weekly

Reports to: Operations Director

Basic Function: Maintains all the Center’s buildings

Typical Duties:

1. Maintains the Center’s buildings on a regular basis including painting, carpet cleaning, window washing, screen repairs, replacement of needed items, etc

2. Inspects the Center’s buildings on a monthly basis and notifies the appropriate supervisor on what repairs need to be made

3. Performs the repairs or, if unable to do so, calls for contractors after obtaining the necessary approval

4. Ensures that the grounds of all buildings are maintained (grass cut and grounds clean) and snow removal is done in a timely manner

5. Collects and bags leaves from the grounds of the various buildings and takes bags to the recycling

6. Picks up donated furniture and assists in moving clients, if needed

7. Picks up food as requested. Assists in carrying food and items to the food pantry or storage space.

8. Coordinates maintenance requests with the Operations Director

9. Performs other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Handyperson experience
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently to achieve stated goals
• Well developed organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to abide by the Center’s Code of Conduct

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
