What will you be doing in your role?

  • Identify all elements of operational support for a Padua replication site.
  • Development of program curriculum including documentation of current training materials.
  • Develop written operations manual for program replication to a second site: including roles, job descriptions, and hiring guides for replication site.
  • Build replication site training program utilizing multiple training modalities (such as written, in person, on-demand, etc.)
  • Plan, organize, and conduct training sessions, workshops or seminars for program staff and leadership.
  • Stay current with trends and advancements in social work practices to inform new training content.
  • Provide support and guidance to replication site staff on curriculum related issues and best practices.
  • Develop and implement staff written training plans, including goals and objectives.
  • Create and communicate training schedules.
  • Train staff directly or using a train-the trainer model.
  • Coordinate effective, engaging onboarding for new staff and ongoing training for staff.
  • Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate the training at the replication site.
  • Package program operations in a way that promotes clarity, consistency, and ease of use by replication partners.
  • Maintain knowledge of program training across sites and hold partners accountable for implementing standardized training practices.
  • Foster and facilitate a community of learning across all sites to ensure highly trained staff.
  • Facilitate the selection process for replication sites and be responsible for vetting partner training.
  • Prepare replication sites for program launch.
  • Support program development and documentation to ensure program components are well defined and well-packaged for replication.
  • Maintain knowledge of program performance across sites and hold partners accountable for implementing the program with quality and fidelity to the model.
  • Ensure compliance with research protocols, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing training, technical assistance, and troubleshooting.
  • Foster and facilitate a community of learning across all sites to promote program success.
  • Cultivate and manage positive, collaborative relationships with replication partners including social service providers, community colleges, and researchers.
  • Stay proactively informed of all aspects of program implementation in order to promote forward momentum or devise corrective action plans as needed.
  • Develop and implement program policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services.

Are you the next Curriculum Development & Training Specialist?

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or other social service field required.
  • Master’s degree in social work (MSW) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in social work proactive OR 3 years teaching, curriculum development, or a training role
  • Strong knowledge of social work theories, practices, and ethics is preferred.
  • Experience with curriculum design, instructional strategies, and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups, including faculty, students, and community partners.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Full-Time, hourly position with a starting pay of $30, based on the minimum qualifications. Pay is determined by relevant experience, work history, education and internal equities.
