Job SummaryCatholic Charities of Madison Co. is seeking a part-time therapist passionate about helping children, teens, adults, couples and families reach their full potential. This position is 30 hours/week in the Alton Office. The Professional Counseling Solutions Program provides counseling services via in-person or telehealth to insurance and private pay clients as well as the parochial schools. Flexible schedule offered based on client needs. Duties include counseling services to parochial schools, in-person, telehealth, and group sessions to insurance and private pay clients. Must have or be working towards an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW. Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance. Some driving is required. Job Duties
  • Receive referrals for service and provide direct client contact and counseling to children, couples, and families in need.
  • Counseling services may include group work services and workshops within assigned areas as this need is generated within the clinical population.
  • Provide consultation to other program staff as needed or required.
  • Maintain functional interface with other agency programs and community service organizations for appropriate referral and effective case planning.
  • Complete case-related forms and summaries and other agency reporting requirements.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision which may include live or taped viewing of interviews.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in the human service area or related field (preferably an MSW).
  • One year of supervised experience in direct provision of clinical counseling.
  • Familiarity with family systems theory and practice.
  • Demonstrated personal attributes of maturity, autonomy, and responsibility.
