Catholic Charities North Dakota, an accredited social service and licensed child welfare agency, is seeking a full-time Adoption Intake Coordinator in the Adults Adopting Special Kids (AASK) program. The AASK program is North Dakota’s adoption program for children in the foster care system. The position will cover the State of North Dakota and all clients within AASK. Responsibilities of the AASK Intake Coordinator position include but are not limited to:

• Gather, organize, and compile necessary child referral information from an MIS system in a timely and accurate manner
• Engage prospective adoptive families in the adoption process; provide families with application paperwork and assist families in completion of necessary items to move forward in the process
• Gather, organize, and compile family application materials in a timely and accurate manner
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with AASK Specialist, prospective adoptive families, and other community partners as necessary

Licensure & Skills Needed:

• Licensure/Education: Four-year degree in human services preferred; ND Social Work License (LBSW) preferred.
• Must have strong engagement, communication, and organizational skills
• Must have attention to detail, positive interpersonal relationship skills, and motivation to move children to permanency
