Catholic Charities of Long Island is Hiring an Addiction Treatment Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Flexible Hours Near Hampton, NY

DescriptionJoin the mission of Catholic Charities, where we believe in providing “Care with Dignity…Life with Hope.” In this flexible 4-hour position at the Hampton Bays Outpatient Clinic, you will be involved in delivering addiction treatment services to adults aged 18 and older who are confronting substance use disorders. Our clinic is licensed by NYS OASAS and offers a variety of services including:
  • Individual and group counseling
  • Psychiatric assessments
  • Medication monitoring
  • Medical treatment for addiction
  • Peer services in both English and Spanish
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the lives of those struggling with addiction and their families.
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care for clients in addiction recovery.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Offer counseling and support to individuals and groups.
  • Monitor medication use and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
Requirements
  • Valid Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Experience in addiction treatment preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a flexible, team-oriented environment.
