Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is currently seeking a Per Diem Substitute Teacher for its Mount Carmel Guild Cares Preschool located in Newark, NJ. Mount Carmel Guild Cares is fully accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC is the nation's largest and most influential organization of early-childhood educators, dedicated to improving the quality of programs for young children.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Follow lesson plans from classroom teacher write anecdotal notes
• Follow policies and procedures within the school

REQUIREMENTS:

• The position requires either 30 college credits, Bachelor’s Degree, or an Associate’s Degree
• NJDOE substitute teacher certificate, a standard NJDOE teaching certificate, or an NJDOE teacher certificate of eligibility
