Catholic Diocese of Richmond is Hiring a Pastoral associate Near Virginia, VA
St. Matthew Catholic Church in Virginia seeks a part-time Pastoral Associate to coordinate church pastoral care, liturgical planning, and marriage preparation.
The Pastoral Associate will coordinate the Liturgy Committee, OCIA, baptism preparation, and funeral liturgies. They will also provide pastoral care to the homebound.
This position is part-time, 10 hours per week. Evening and weekend hours in addition to regular office hours will be required.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry or Religious Studies. Applicant must be a practicing Catholic in good standing and have parish ministry experience.
