Saint Joseph Mount Sterling is a not-for-profit faith-based hospital located in Mount Sterling Kentucky. The hospital was founded in 1918formerly known as Mary Chiles Hospitaland now serves as a 42-bed community hospital for the residents of Bath Bourbon Clark Menifee Montgomery Nicholas Powell and Rowan counties. **Responsibilities**

**Job Summary / Purpose**

Perform a variety of chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic procedures of a moderately and highly complex nature, following established standards and practices to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Provide direct care to patients of all ages.

**Qualifications**

**Required Education and Experience**

High school diploma or equivalent education Completion of accredited training program

**Required Licensure and Certifications**

MLT (ASCP), or equivalent certification.

**Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training**

Adequate conversational English is required in order that the individual be able to take direction from management, understand how to complete job tasks, communicate adequately with patients and co-workers as necessary, understand and follow safety guidelines, and understand the Associate Handbook and all hospital policies.

**Pay Range**

$25.48 - $25.48 /hour
