Merchandise Planning System Manager

The Cato Corporation is seeking an experienced Merchandise Planning System Manager to join our IT Department.

JOB SUMMARY:

Full responsibility of the Merchandise Planning and Assortment Planning Systems. Planning methodologies for various business categories. Liaison between business groups and IT.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design,develop, test & implement system solutions to support business needs
• Responsible for ensuring integrity of data within the Planning system.
• Oversee all training and development of planning system users
• Work with IT to identify & prioritize information needs of all Planning organizations.
• Mentors associated staff
• Works with JDA Blue Yonder User Group to prioritize enhancements.
• Maintains Retail Price Management System for all divisions

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• JDA Blue Yonder Planning System Administration
• Oracle Retail Merchandising
• Oracle Assortment Planning
• Retail planning
• System testing
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

EDUCATION:

• 4 year degree or equivalent work experience
