About The PositionThe Philanthropy Operations Manager will be a crucial part of our team, reporting to the Chief Development Officer and supporting the overall administration of the Foundation's development operations and philanthropy team.
Your main responsibilities will be focused on enhancing philanthropic campaign operations, supporting prospect research and other administrative functions in support of the Chief Development Officer, ensuring efficient operations while fostering and nurturing critical relationships.

What You’ll Do
  • CRM Integrity/Research: Maintain data integrity within Salesforce, generate reports, and ensure accurate data management. Develop and maintain custom analytics, reports, and dashboards to support strategic revenue generation aligned with organizational goals.
  • Philanthropic Administration: Draft donor letters, manage grant agreements, and ensure all documentation is ready and accurate.
  • Flexible Vision Adaptation & Implementation: Adapt to evolving organizational visions and strategies by implementing and documenting departmental processes, ensuring they are followed to maintain operational consistency and efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with donors, advisors, and board members, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. Track and disseminate fundraising, donor, and prospect-related information regularly.
  • Process Development: Create, document, and enforce donor file protocols and other donor-related intellectual property safeguards for the organization. Ensure the overall integrity and quality of the donor database, including regular data improvement and hygiene, enforcement of database business processes, and management of code values and business rules.
  • Pipeline Management: Assist in identifying new potential donors, systematically review and assess donor pipelines, and track the conversion and upgrading of donors throughout the pipeline. Provide tracking tools for front line officers to understand their progress against goals to ensure portfolio optimization.
  • Operational Support: Provide high-level administrative support to the philanthropy team, ensuring efficient operations and assisting with logistics for philanthropy events.
  • Event and Board Liaison: Assist in organizing and managing logistics around board meetings and other key events.
Requirements What You’ll Bring
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in a startup or startup-like environment, preferably in a philanthropy or operations role.
  • Proficiency in implementing and managing CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Clear and professional communication with exceptional writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A meticulous approach to tasks and documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a flexible mindset.

Compensation: $85,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Group medical/vision/dental benefits with 100% employer contribution for employees and 75% contribution for dependents; life insurance; 401k retirement savings plan; and generous holiday and paid time off policies.
Location: US-remote in the PT/MT time zone, preferably near a major airport
Travel: 5-10%
