CT Supervisor

The CT Supervisor Oversees the imaging operations and procedures of the CT modality, this position will select and evaluate technologists, oversee staff schedules, performance, and productivity. At the direction of the Radiology Systems Manager, the CT Supervisor oversees the CT technical staff in the designated section/s of the department. S/he oversees technical procedures, patient care, and workflow to ensure safe and effective patient care and acts as a role model and facilitator working in collaboration with all levels of departmental personnel. S/he will implement policies and procedures relevant to CHS and licensing bodies, and maintain working knowledge of equipment and provide staff coverage as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manages Daily Operations
• Maintains appropriate schedules (staffing and patients)
• Assist with oversite of offsite CT
• Fills in when needed in the CT department

Required Skills and Experience:

• Education- Graduate from an accredited school of radiology.
• Experience - 2 years' experience as a CT technologist preferred
• Licensure - Imaging Certification required (CRT

P referred Skills and Experience:

• Problem solving ability and attention to detail is preferred
• Good written and oral communication skills preferred.
• Requires ability to prioritize work, manage time wisely and adjust to changes in work volumes.

Physical Requirements :

• Able to stand for long periods of time; requires manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination. Able to perform light lifting, up to 40 pounds.
