About the Program and Position:
HealthySteps is an evidence-based, interdisciplinary pediatric primary care program that promotes nurturing parenting and healthy development for babies and toddlers. HealthySteps provides support to families where they are most likely to access it - the pediatrician’s office. Data shows that nearly all families take their babies to see the pediatrician, this gives HealthySteps the opportunity to reach the highest number of babies and toddlers. The HealthySteps (HS) approach means the entire practice works as a team to strengthen the relationship between families and the practice and support strong parent/child attachment.
Cayuga Centers seeks a highly organized and motivated Data Specialist for the HealthySteps (DOH) program in St. Lucie County. Under the direction of the Director of Treasure Coast Programs, the Data Specialist conducts a full array of data entry duties for the program.
How you get to use your skills…
Assists in the coordination of office and program activities to ensure program efficiency
Enter, collect and review data
Enter data into electronic data system as indicated by contract
Logs and prepares closed charts for storage
Generates and maintains program forms and literature
Assists developmental specialists with events and presentations, as needed
Assists in the coordination of office and program activities to ensure program efficiency
Attends staff meetings taking minutes as requested by the Program Manager or designee
Retrieves data and matches needs with Developmental Specialists
Meet with Developmental Specialists and Program Manager on a weekly basis
Generates reports, charts, and graphs as requested for Program Manager or designee
Troubleshoots and rectifies any problems found in documentation and communicates information regarding errors to the Program Manager or designee.
Operates equipment such as scanners, printers, faxes, computers, and copiers.
Creates and maintains an organized filing system.
Establishes and maintains an organized working environment
Responds to calls promptly with etiquette, takes accurate messages, and submits or transfers calls/messages to Program Manager or designee.
Attend weekly supervision with Program Manager
Participates in required trainings by funder and Cayuga Centers.
Reviews registration documents and performance measures for completeness, accuracy, and consistency with procedures
Performs general office tasks
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, program leadership, and President/CEO
Schedule:
This is a full-time non-exempt position, Regular hours entail 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
Must be flexible to meet program needs
