Responsibilities
- Under the direction of a radiologist, preforms magnetic resonance procedures at a technical level using independent judgment, and initiative for obtaining a diagnosis.
- Routine MRI imaging and other procedures requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology with independent selection and modification of technical factors to produce optimum MRI scans.
- Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
- Demonstrates clinical competency in caring of patients.
- Uses verbal and written communication to report data concerning patients in a timely and confidential manner.
- Graduate of a recognized program in radiologic technology.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association or CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
- ARRT Radiography registered
- ARRT advanced registry in MRI preferred
