Position Type: Full-Time
Shift: Various Shifts Available (Day, Evening, Night)
Responsibilities
- Performs ultrasound sonographic procedures in accordance with established procedures.
- Demonstrates age appropriate care towards all customers.
- Consistently demonstrates competence in performing all ultrasound techniques and examinations with special attention to abdominal, retroperitoneal and vascular scans.
- Assists with minor Ultrasound invasive procedures (cyst aspiration and biopsies).
- Obtains and relays information related to exam.
- Educates patients about exams, adjusting to patient/staffing needs.
- Provides support to Ultrasound Department to aid workflow.
- Associate's degree (2 years college).
- Graduate of an AMA Accredited school of Ultrasound.
- Less than 1 year of experience.
- American Heart Association CPR Certification, ARDMS Certified or board eligible.
- Board certified within 1 year of hire.
