Position : QA UAT Tester

Location : Tempe, AZ

Duration : 6 Months with EXT

Top 3 to 5 skillsets / years of experience • Expertise in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) management and execution, including developing test scenarios, defect management, and obtaining signoffs from business owners. • Strong technical proficiency in REST API testing, SQL for analysis, and familiarity with agile methodologies and automated testing tools. • Effective communication and collaboration skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and coordination of testing processes. Responsibilities:

• Oversees all aspects of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, execution, defect management, status reporting, review and sign-off acquisition, and summary reporting.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of Agile/Scrum software development, QA, and software release processes.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and IT Delivery Leads to determine test scope and identify the necessary data/infrastructure for testing.
• Provide subject matter expertise support to the Product team for testing, analyzing, and troubleshooting data.
• Develop comprehensive test scenarios/scripts based on feature and user story documentation.
• Coordinate UAT reviews and presentations with business owners, ensuring signoffs and approvals are obtained.
• Effectively communicate testing processes and procedures to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Interact with technical and non-technical individuals, including educating, persuading, and negotiating, while collaborating with systems and development staff to gather and interpret technical information.

Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience:

• Have experience with Rest API testing using tools like Postman, Mulesoft platforms, etc.
• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or possess 2 years of experience as a Tester, taking ownership of test plans, scripts, and test execution.
• Display understanding of testing techniques and proficiency in agile methodologies.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paying meticulous attention to detail.
• Exhibit excellent knowledge of SQL for analysis, reporting, and data corrections.
• Previous exposure to testing tools and automated testing is preferred.
• Possess knowledge of the Payment, Banking and Financial domain (preferred but not required)
