cBEYONData company is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to support our federal customer's multi-domain technology platform which offers military and business decision makers, analysts, and users at all levels unprecedented access to authoritative enterprise data and structured analytics in a scalable, reliable, and secure environment. As a Senior Security engineer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the security posture of our clients' Microsoft technology infrastructure. You will offer technical expertise in securely designing and developing a security model for a power platform environment. This role involves creating and enforcing policies to maintain the security and availability of the Power Platform applications.

Responsibilities:

Design, architect, and implement a secure Power Platform environment. Lead the adoption and integration of Microsoft security technologies. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the Microsoft security suite, with a focus on the suite of Power Platform applications - Power BI, Power Automate, Power Pages and Power Apps.

Leveraging your expertise in Microsoft technologies, you will work to identify and mitigate potential security risks, providing a robust, reliable, and effective security solution. Your role will involve close collaboration with clients and internal teams to understand specific security needs and tailor the Microsoft environment accordingly.

Furthermore, you will contribute to the development of security policies and procedures, staying updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, and mitigation techniques. Your commitment to maintaining high cybersecurity standards and your ability to adapt to evolving security landscapes will be critical to your success in this role.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2 years experience leading security configuration for Power Platform applications.
• 5 years experience leading secure adoption of Microsoft security services for M365.
• 5 years integrating identity and access management controls within M365.
• 5 years experience in architecting and implementing event management and secure logging for M365 services.
• Experience working in Azure environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview's integrated data security services, including data encryption, classification, and labeling.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID governance and the ability to generate security posture and compliance reports for executive review.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to gather and analyze facts, formulate objective conclusions, and define problems and solutions.
• Capability to adapt, integrate, and modify existing programs or vendor-supplied package programs for use with existing information systems.
• Ability to work productively and maintain focus without direct supervision.
• Competency with security monitoring related to Microsoft cloud technologies.
• Ability to follow established processes, adapt to ambiguity, be a fast learner, and demonstrate a high level of personal ambition and initiative.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to develop technical documentation and presentations.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of risk assessment, security assessment, and vulnerability management using Microsoft solutions.
