A well-capitalized and market-leading investor in oil & gas assets across the U.S. is looking to add an Investor Relations Associate to their growing team. Having impressive returns relative to competitors, this firm is incredibly well-positioned for growth over the next few years. Additionally, given the flat structure of the firm, this role offers the opportunity to gain extensive hands-on investor relations and deal sourcing experience with potential to grow within the firm long-term.

Investor Relations Associate Responsibilities:

• Support in financial planning and analysis, modeling tasks, and corporate finance duties.
• Work collaboratively across various teams including Investor Relations, Business Development, Finance, and Legal
• Support FP&A team on an ad hoc basis
• Assist with quarterly and annual earnings reports as well as writing press releases
• Create and update marketing materials and investor presentations
• Conduct market and industry research to identify and assess prospective investment opportunities

Investor Relations Associate Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ Degree
• An interest in finance and investing
• 2-3 years of Investment Banking Analyst experience, specifically with exposure to oil and gas
• Strong written and oral communication as well as interpersonal skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Motivated self-starter displaying high productivity and follow-through in all areas of responsibility
• Team-orientated individual who seeks out tasks when work is completed and assists colleagues to ensure goals, requirements and deadlines are achieved
