Location: Mechanicsburg, PA - local candidates only

Hybrid, must work onsite for 6 weeks before being eligible for 2 telework days/week

Contract Length: Contract to hire - after 6 months this position is eligible for conversion

Position Overview:

Oversees IT projects and relationships and requires extensive project management experience. The candidate will be responsible for delivering projects on time and resolving escalated issues and should have strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.

Required Skills:

• 5 years of project management, including three years of personnel management.
• 7 years of work experience in a technology-related field is required.
• Driver’s license required.
• Must be experienced in developing, presenting, and executing plans for small to mid-size efforts, eliciting and documenting business requirements, overseeing a collaborative team, leading technical teams, and communicating between technical, business, and management stakeholders.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project are required.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau are required.
• Understand how to develop, present, and interpret performance metrics.

Duties:

• Prepares and executes projects and work plans.
• Develops detailed system requirements, change requests, and test plans.
• Performs 2nd level support activities to monitor, track, and resolve issues.
• Works with end-users to understand problems and issues thoroughly and guides systems developers based on user needs.
• Prioritizes user problems and design requests.
• Describes detailed problems and approaches to end-users in a non-technical manner. Reviews and revises documentation accordingly.
• Prepares and presents materials to stakeholders, including project plans, analysis, presentations, and business metrics.
• Works closely with stakeholders. Effectively communicates with team members, management, and vendors.
• Tracks team progress toward project plan goals.
