CBS News and Stations is Hiring a Tech Specialist Near Pittsburgh, PA
Primary Responsibilities:
- A working knowledge of Television Station Operations.
- RF knowledge for satellite, microwave, and main transmission, encoding, and decoding formats and principles, equipment installation, configuration and repair, and other duties as assigned.
- This includes Over-the-Air and Online Properties.
- Collaborate with other members of the Engineering Team on project planning and execution.
- Customer Service to other groups, including optimally and quickly solving and correcting issues.
- Be able to multi-task to accomplish multiple projects at one time.
- All aspects of this position require heavy computer knowledge.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Broadcast Television Station Engineering.
- A college degree is helpful, but not required.
