CBS Digital is looking for an experienced Sr. Editor, Streaming with deep experience editing longform programming to join our streaming and FAST channel team! You will bring your expertise and passion for news and newsmagazine storytelling to help launch new networks and edit engaging content for some of our biggest CBS and CBS News brands. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, a keen understanding of post-production workflows, a demonstrated ability to problem-solve in a deadline driven environment, and proficiency in visual storytelling ... with style.

Responsibilities:

• Working with our CBS and CBS News show teams, build daily and weekly streaming and FAST channel programs
• Develop innovative workflows to repurposing archive content
• Working with our design leads, develop additional show and channel elements, such as interstitials, teases, rejoiners, tickers, snipes, etc
• Skillfully manage breaking and developing news situations, adapting production plans as needed to deliver timely programs

Basic Qualifications:

Proven experience as an editor/producer with 5 years of experience.

Additional qualifications:

• Expert level editor, with proficiency in Adobe and Avid products
• Deep understanding of the technical side of any edit
• A demonstrated eye for the artistic and an ear for sound design
• Skilled collaborator who can productively work with anyone and roll with the punches as a day's priorities change
• Excellent communicator
• Bonus points if you've ever been part of a network launch of any kind and can bring that POV to our team!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $74,500.00 - 93,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
