Summary:

We are looking for Trailer Mechanic Helper to work under the direction of the Shop Manager. This role is accountable for proper completion of all work as assigned and must maintain documentation of work. Compliance with all company policies is a strict requirement. Other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Duties include (but not limited to):

Assist with Tank Trailer repairs and preps
Trained on 90 Day Inspections
Tank Trailer Maintenance
Assist on brakes maintenance
Train ABS Systems
Train on FHWA Inspections
Maintain clean work area
Follow instructions given by the Lead Man.
Maintain an asigned collection of personal tools.
Monitor and adhere to inventory management system.
Follow instructions given by Senior Mechanics
Adhere to current programs and policies to ensure safety and environmental regulatory compliance.
Other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements Include:

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered.
High School Diploma/GED
Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
Position requires frequent standing, bending and walking
Must be able to withstand weather conditions
Posses basic tools
Willing to work in an open air workshop
Tank Trailer repair experience preferred
Basic MIG, TIG welding experience preferred
