Compensation:
  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000

Responsibilities
The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Financial Leadership:
•Provide comprehensive leadership and direction to the finance team to achieve the company's financial objectives.
•Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance financial performance and business growth.
•Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
Financial Operations:
•Manage the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
•Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
•Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Strategic Planning:
•Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial plans and strategies.
•Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and drive business performance.
•Evaluate financial performance by analyzing key metrics and trends, and develop action plans to address areas of concern.
Audit and Compliance:
•Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
•Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations and filings.
•Monitor and ensure adherence to internal financial policies and procedures.
Team Development:
•Attract, develop, and retain high-quality finance professionals.
•Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional development within the finance team.
•Provide mentorship and training to enhance the skills and capabilities of the finance staff.
Cost Management:
•Oversee cost accounting and inventory management to optimize operational efficiency.
•Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement strategies to improve profitability.
•Monitor and control capital expenditures to ensure alignment with budget and strategic objectives.
Financial Systems:
•Optimize the use of financial systems and technology to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reporting capabilities.
•Lead system implementation projects and enhancements to support the company's growth and operational needs.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
•10 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, with at least 5 years in a senior financial management role.
•Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably within the beverage or CPG sector.
•Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
•Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and strategy development.
•Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
•Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
