Our Connect Rx Pharmacists are members of an innovative pharmacy practice who are passionate about improving patient health. ConnectRx is a retail operation with a focus on community health. The Pharmacist is responsible for all aspects of the daily pharmacy operations. They will provide oversight for all staff activities of the registered establishment in conformance with all applicable New York State and Federal laws and regulations. The Pharmacist will ensure all customers are assisted with their health care needs, which includes dispensing prescriptions, selecting the appropriate Over-the-Counter (OTC) product and providing excellent customer service. The Pharmacist will also aid and support the success of the Pharmacy and the development of the Pharmacy Team. This includes the periodic oversite and supervision of technicians and mobile customer service representatives during their shifts. This position is based in Watervliet NY.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Pharmacy Degree from accredited pharmacy school required.

Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of New York is required.

Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Pharmacist or performing relevant clinical tasks in a pharmacy setting required.

Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is required.

Experience assisting patients with basic medical needs related to medications required.

Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.

Detailed data entry experience required.

Experience with prescription software required.

Demonstrate ability to apply laws, principles and best practices of general pharmacy practice/operations.

Demonstrate ability to assign, evaluate and prioritize the workflow of team members.

Demonstrate the ability to collect and fully analyze various data, draw appropriate conclusions and form proper recommendations.

Demonstrate ability to perform mathematical computations.

Demonstrate ability to compound medications.

Demonstrate ability to develop positive working relationships with both internal staff and external business partners at all levels.

Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with multiple partners to positively affect outcomes at the team, organization and member level.

Demonstrate ability to pro-actively identify problems, as well as recommend and/or implement effective solutions.

Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate workflow

Ability to work varying shifts between the hours of 8am and 7pm. Schedule may include Saturdays.

Local travel may be required to Latham location.
