We are a new East Village Restaurant looking for a General Manager to complete our team. We are targeting an opening in the next few weeks. The restaurant is a New York Bistro where guests can enjoy elevated classics and some creative dishes that can’t be found elsewhere. We will serve dinner 5 nights a week to open. In time we will also open for brunch on the weekends. For drinks we will serve beer, wine, low abv cocktails, and some non-alcoholic options.

The restaurant seats 100 guests with the backyard so we are looking for someone who has multiple years of restaurant management experience. The GM will be tasked with ordering all beverages, training new hires, and creating a schedule for all FOH staff. Candidates must also have a firm understanding of Toast POS systems. Experience expediting will be useful and anyone hired should be capable of stepping into a server or bartender’s role when necessary.

Whoever is hired will have the support of a beverage consultant, a FOH consultant, the owner and our director of operations. We already have a roster of servers and people interested in serving here. Accounts have been set up with beer and wine distributors.
