Cedar Fair Entertainment Company is Hiring a Manager Events Producer Near Charlotte, NC

Overview:
The Manager Events Producer will be responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders to conceptualize new event and festival opportunities and executing production strategy across the portfolio. Will oversee all aspects of event/festival implementation including décor, experience, live shows, parades, food, merchandise, and signage. Responsible for budget, production schedule development and deliverable tracking. Manages outside design and production resources, including detailed scopes of work, deliverables, and contract documents.
Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualizes the event/festival creative, develops and manages event/festival budget, and produces event/festival milestones and detailed schedule.
  • Manages the production process to include setting and facilitating meetings, interfacing with purchasing and vendors, tracking expenses, communicating and implementing production plans, and ensuring Corporate/Park policies and procedures are followed.
  • Ensures operational strategies and issues are included in the plans and implemented.
  • Helps determine proper balance between financial goals and creative product.
  • Serves as the communication point for external and internal clients, as well as the interface for all other lines of business influenced by the project.
  • Practices fiscal responsibility by creating, maintaining and adhering to a budget for each production and event.
  • Works with individual parks on design specifics for shows, attractions and festivals including color selection, style aesthetics, sign development, theming, venue selection and artistic guidance.
  • Adheres to and enforces all Cedar Fair and specific Park policies and procedures, including safety, attendance and EEO policies, and demonstrates commitment to customer service in all aspects of employment.
  • Collaborates with XDS Entertainment in the continued development of standard operating procedures, continued education deliverables, and portfolio wide communication strategy.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4-6 years of total work related experience
  • 3-5 years of supervisory/leadership experience
  • 50% travel required
