Employment Type: Full-time
Certification: PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
Role Overview: You will support the operations of our pharmacy by preparing, dispensing, and managing medication inventories and records, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the PTCB
- Non-certified technicians must have at least 6 months of experience or be a graduate of an Academic Technician Training Educational Program.
- Basic typing and PC computer skills.
- Strong mathematical and English language skills.
- Must read, understand, speak, and write English fluently under the authority of U.S.C. 7402(d) and 7407(d)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and manage tasks requiring physical exertion.
- Have a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate
- Prepares, packages, and labels medication doses.
- Maintains drug inventories, stocks shelves, and ensures proper storage.
- Operates and maintains pharmacy automation equipment.
- Follows all SOPs and safety protocols related to hazardous materials.
