About Our Company: Cedar Park Handyman has immediate openings in the Austin and Cedar Park area for experienced individuals that are competent in handyman or home improvement work. We are looking for individuals that have a great attitude and excellent customer service skills and are skilled enough to work on their own. This is a fast growing business and we are looking for an individual that has ambition to grow the business and grow with the business. About the Position: The handyman position is our primary role within the company. He/She is tasked with the responsibility to lead jobs and complete home remodeling jobs such as installing ceiling fans, drywall repairs, carpentry work, framing, hanging doors, and other various field related tasks. In this position, there is a lot of opportunity for advancement and to grow your leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Five years or more in the Handyman or Construction Field or Equivalent Education. Looking for 5-10 trade skills that the handyman is proficient in currently.
- Must have a basic set of hand tools, as well as cordless drill, skill saw, etc.
- Reliable vehicular transportation. Also must have insurance and a valid driver's license.
- Multi-skilled in general home improvement, repairs/maintenance, remodeling, and drywall, tile, carpentry, match textures and paint, install doors and windows.
- Full time positions
Preferred Qualifications
- Clean and have a professional appearance.
- Must be self-motivated, good communicator, have excellent customer service skills and produce quality workmanship.
- English Knowledge
Pay: At Cedar Park Handyman, we pay based on previous work experience along with other factors such as job performance. The pay structure is set to a base pay plus commission based on the profit of the job.
