Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Clinic Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support at the front desk and back-office patient care duties in our primary care office.

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments

- Verify patient information and insurance coverage

- Assist with patient intake and registration

- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits

- Take and record vital signs and medical history

- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures

- Clean and sterilize medical equipment and instruments

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Assist with other duties as assigned by the provider

This position can be flexible as part-time or full-time. Full-time employees are eligible for full benefit package to include health, vision, and dental insurance. 401K-match. Profit sharing opportunities.

Requirements

- Certified Medical Assistant, Paramedic, or EMT preferred but will train a motivated, team player with a passion to work in healthcare and take care of patients

- Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting preferred

- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficiency in computer skills and electronic medical records

- Must be willing to train and learn new skills such as venipuncture if needed
