Platform Engineer (Kubernetes SME)

The Select Group is seeking a Platform Engineer (Kubernetes SME) for a large Telecommunication client. For this role, the Platform Engineer will be responsible for managing large amount of Kubernets clusters, scalability of Kubernetes, and maintain the network infrastructure.

Requirements:

Minimum of 8 years in Information Technology

5 years of recent experience with Kubernetes

Intermediate experience with designing Kubernetes clusters for scalability and best practices

Experience managing production clusters and ensuring compliance.

Strong experience in building custom Kubernetes Operators

Understands real-time computations on servers and working with streaming data technologies.

Well versed in Opensource technologies including Openshift, Redis, Rabbit, and VictoriaMetrics

Strong understanding of Telecommunications

Strong understanding of Virtual Machines and networking technologies (networking backround)

Education/Certification Requirements: bachelors degree, Computer Science, or related field highly preferred
