  • CableLabs/Kyrio was chosen to be the Host Lab by NITA for a 2-year program working on the 5G challenge

• Basically, they invite industry leaders from all over to CableLabs as the primary host lab where they will measure characteristics for the maturity of the Open RAN Ecosystem & to illicit new interest from US=based companies to build equipment that meets the Open RAN standards

Must Have Skills:

1. Two test platforms (hardware/software) – different layers of an end-to-end network
   1. Viavi
   2. AND/OR
      1. Keysight – preferred
2. 5G or Lab Testing experience
3. Flexible Schedule
   1. Flexible with their availability & time
   2. Teams they work with could include those from the East Coast, West Coast, West or Eastern Europe, Asia, India, etc.
   3. Sometimes they will have to take international calls with different teams for specs on their project – for their benefit
4. Communication Skills
   1. Needs good verbal skills – can be easily understood

Nice to Have Skills:

•  Lab Design experience
