Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Agile Leader and Scrum Master to join our team. This role involves guiding a cross-functional Agile team within the Security, Infrastructure, and Networking domains. The ideal candidate will facilitate Scrum and/or Kanban teams in a fast-paced program, implementing complex technology solutions and ensuring adherence to Agile practices. This position requires the ability to remove impediments, foster a high-performing team environment, and continuously improve quality and timeliness of delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide, coach, and motivate the team to increase productivity.
• Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies.
• Oversee and manage scope, timeline, quality, goals, and deliverables that support business goals.
• Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments.
• Build a trusting and safe environment for raising issues and solving problems.
• Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
• Prepare and present reports on progress and success.
• Coordinate activities with other teams across the program.
• Partner with and support the Product Owner.
• Participate in the Scrum of Scrums and collaborate with other Scrum Masters.
• Coach the team to higher levels of maturity at a sustainable pace.
• Organize and facilitate planning and coordination, including release planning, iteration planning, daily stand-ups, reviews/demos, and retrospectives.
• Ensure adherence to Agile SDLC principles and internal working agreements.
• Promote core Agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
• Track and communicate team progress and metrics to appropriate resources.
• Facilitate an environment of collaboration and creativity.
• Support the team in making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition.
• Empower the team to self-organize around achieving their commitments.
• Identify and remove impediments/distractions that interfere with the team's ability to deliver.
• Challenge and enable the team to continuously improve through data-driven inspect and adapt cycles (retrospectives).

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience as a Scrum Master in a complex, large-scale enterprise.
• Previous roles in an Agile environment (e.g., engineering, development, QA, product owner, or Agile coach).
• Proven knowledge and experience with Agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures.
• Experience with Agile in a shared services environment.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor teams to reach their highest potential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse personality types.
• Strong understanding of technical issues at a high level and the ability to communicate Agile methodologies within the organization.
• Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple Agile teams and balance PMO, business, and technology team needs.
• Self-motivated, creative, and efficient in proposing solutions to complex problems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Additional Information:

• Contractor may be required to be in-office 2-3 days per week
• Open to a longer-term commitment.
• Half of the team is in Cincinnati, and Scrum Masters are in Cincinnati.
