Summary:

• CEI’s Electric Services Client is adding a Technical Systems Analyst to their team!
• Interested candidates should have a strong software engineering background and recent experience conducting vendor implementations.

Job at a glance:

• Long term contract with potential for extension and/or permanent placement
• $60 - $64/hr W2 optional benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k)
• Hybrid schedule, 1 week remote, 1 week onsite at 600 East Canal Street Richmond Virginia 23219
• Somewhat flexible schedule, working M-F, 8-9 hours a day

Responsibilities:

• Function as a consultant to our internal business partners regarding technology and process solutions.
• Facilitate finding, developing, and implementing viable technology solutions for our business partners by working with teammates, IT groups within the company, external service providers, and business partners.
• Provide guidance to our internal business partners by knowing what technologies are available to solve complex requirements.
• Interface with internal business partners, IT groups, and external service providers to implement new systems and modify existing systems.
• Facilitate and lead requirements workshops.
• Functionally deconstruct, analyze, and document our internal business partners systems, problems, processes, and needs.
• Define business requirements and test cases using structured methodologies.
• Effectively lead documentation of business requirements, test cases, use cases, and design thinking exercises.
• Provide written and verbal updates on projects and solutions to IT and business management.
• Develop and deliver training on new or revised system functionality to raise awareness, educate users, and support personnel.

Required Skills:

• Must have a developer background, preferably with .NET
• Experience leading vendor implementations
