POUCH MACHINE OPERATOR - WORKING LEAD - NEEDED FOR 2nd SHIFT

Pouch Machine Operation experience required for this plastic converting plant.
Heavy lifting involved.
Must be able to work with the team and train others.
May train on day shift.
Pay dependent on experience.
Working Leads are required to use your skill, knowledge, and previous experiences in several areas to achieve the company goals:
- Proficiency in all Rewinder Assistant, Rewinder Level I, and Rewinder Level II requirements.
- Communicate and organize daily machine needs and other tasks with co-workers.
- Optimize current and new machine uptime and assist with the monitoring of plant processes based on rates determined by Management. Working Lead sets the pace for others on the shift.
- Optimize process changeovers.
- Evaluate and report machine related issues; Equipment Troubleshooting and Resolution.
- Being a champion of our Quality Management System on behalf of our customers and other stakeholders.
- Assist with the enforcement of operations/facility Safety and Employee Policies
- Assist with the implementation of all SQF procedures and enforcing on a daily basis
- Communicate issues accordingly to the Production Manager
- Communicate in a positive manner with teammates.
