The CloudExtend team is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing marketing and sales organization. Sales Development is critical to making new business opportunities come to life. 

This role will be responsible for lead generation and qualification to drive new business and expand existing business by conducting outreach into companies across the US and speaking with the Line of Business, IT, and CXOs about their integration needs and initiatives. This role will be key in strengthening our outbound sales motions by: 

  • Acquiring in-depth knowledge of our ICP’s (ideal customer profile) and Key Personas to drive meaningful conversations, and effectively qualify each prospect
  • Researching potential leads through business directories, web searches, and digital resources; evaluate potential accounts, and identify key decision-makers aligned with ongoing marketing and sales campaigns
  • Conducting initial sales conversations to generate interest
  • Prospecting, nurturing, and identifying qualified opportunities to bolster outbound opportunities in the sales pipeline
  • Supporting outbound campaigns produced by the marketing team, including ABM, events, social, and digital
  • Collaborating closely with marketing and sales teams to optimize new and strategically significant expansion opportunities
  • Creating personalized emails to engage prospects & accounts
  • Utilizing social selling techniques to expand the network and open up new opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar field is preferred but not required
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales or customer service is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle rejection professionally
  • Familiarity with various digital tools and platforms used for sales, such as social media management software, CRM systems, email marketing platforms, etc.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong analytical skills to effectively research potential customers and identify opportunities for sales.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.

Celigo reasonably expects to pay a base salary between $45,000 per year and $49,000 per year for this position. Actual starting base pay will be determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks as outlined in any formal employment offer made.
