Our beauty industry client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Coordinator / Specialist to manage North America and global makeup projects focused on claims validation and communication.

This role involves creating testing plans, negotiating claims with marketing and legal groups, tracking project progress, and ensuring timely completion of all tests.

The specialist will provide marketing updates, explain technical information, offer insights into ingredients and tests on products, and clarify marketing objectives to laboratories.

Responsibilities :

• Manage North America and global makeup projects for claims validation and communication purposes.
• Create testing plans, negotiate claims with marketing and legal groups, track all projects, and ensure timely completion of tests.
• Explain technical information and technologies, provide insights into ingredients and tests on products.
• Clarify marketing objectives to laboratories on each project regarding target market, desired advertising claims, ingredients, etc.
• Create and issue all claims documentation, such as summaries of claims tests on products, and support all technical databases.
• Create product technical dossiers to support proposals and launches of new products, including formula, packaging, demos, and claims information.
• Work with Safety, Claims, Product Performance Evaluation, and Analytical teams to determine sampling required to support testing while coordinating with labs to receive samples in a timely fashion.
• Review concepts and marketing artwork for technical accuracy and provide alternative language and technical advisement.

Qualifications :

• Experience level : Experienced
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• Technical experience in personal care and / or cosmetic products is a plus.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
