WHAT YOU'LL DO: Drive truck equipped with dump body to transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, concrete, or bituminous paving materials. Haul aggregate materials to ready-mix plants as well as material to various road construction projects, and materials from crushing operation to stockpile sites. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate Tri-axle and or Quad-axle dump trucks, Super 7, End –dump and or tractor trailer trucks. Perform proper pre and post trip inspection including inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. Keep truck clean inside and out (as reasonably possible). Perform minor repairs; grease and do light service work on trucks on occasion. Adhere to all State and Federal regulations and Company safety rules. Drive safely to and from locations. Occasionally operate a loader to load trucks. Climb outside box ladder to spray NCA inside of dump box. Education and/or Experience Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Individual must be task trained per applicable State Regulations prior to operating the machine. Must have dump truck driving experience. Must provide own transportation to job sites. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have a valid CDL – Class A license and DOT physical card. Must be able to perform site specific training if necessary.
