Randstad is Hiring an administrative assistant Near Pleasanton, CA

Our client is a leading healthcare company with an immediate need for an experienced Administrative Assistant in Pleasanton, CA. A bachelor's degree is required, and 3 years of administrative or executive assistant experience is highly preferred. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in MS Office suite, and has experience handling complex calendars and schedules. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
salary: $23 - $25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors
Responsibilities
  • Supports one or more mid-level managers. Works in low to medium-complex environment.
  • Performs routine administrative duties: placing, receiving and routing telephone calls; receiving and directing visitors, typing, filing, faxing, handling incoming and outgoing mail, order and maintain supplies, provide backup coverage to other administrative desks.
  • Has basic to intermediate computer skills including: word processing and spreadsheet software. Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organize and schedule appointments, plan meetings and take detailed minutes. Write and distribute email correspondence, letters, and forms.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Develop and maintain a filing system.
  • Book travel arrangements, coordinate with vendors.
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports.
  • Liaise with executive and senior-administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers.
