We are looking for a strategic and impactful Digital Marketing Manager to own the planning, implementing, optimizing, and managing of the overall SEM & SEO strategy. Reporting to the VP of Demand, our ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset, strong internal drive, and the ability to balance strategy while also getting things done. You are passionate about identifying ways to achieve business goals, have strong communication and organization skills, and are energized by the opportunity to collaborate cross departmentally to create successful SEO implementations and paid search campaigns. 

What You Will Do:

  • Plan and implement paid media campaigns for Google Ads
  • Continually optimize PPC campaign components including keyword strategy, ad copy, bid prices, cost per conversion, cost per click, audience/targeting optimization
  • Design and implement an SEO strategy that accelerates organic traffic, organic and conversion, while improving website traffic, bounce rate, keyword rankings
  • Manage tactical execution of organic search optimizations focused around all three strategic pillars of SEO (content, technical, and authority)
  • Collaborate with Content team on gap analysis’ and Ad copy with a focus on driving conversions
  • Create a variety of digital tracking programs and central, executive level dashboards
  • Provide thought leadership on digital marketing strategies
  • Deliver clear, consistent, and frequent communication with team members
  • Develop and share weekly, monthly, quarterly insights and performance reports to marketing and leadership
  • Design and run A/B tests and perform conversion rate optimization
  • Work with Marketing Ops & Campaigns team to optimize lead delivery and accuracy
  • Managing paid search budget, reporting on spend, campaign results and return on ad spend

Core requirements:

  • 4-6 years of hand-on experience in B2B high-growth companies driving demand through SEO & Paid Search strategies
  • Strong experience with industry-standard tools such as Ahrefs, Moz, SEMRush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, PageSpeed Insights, Screaming Frog
  • Experience with Hubspot, SFDC to report and track digital campaign performance end-to-end
  • Ability to manage and maintain SEO performance through website iterations and migrations
  • Data driven with a growth mindset, ability to surface actionable insights from data and take action
  • Understand and execute against stakeholder expectations
  • Strong understanding of SEO and messaging frameworks related to demand generation
  • Ability to understand and monitor web analytics dashboards and reporting tools
  • You have a strong desire for staying on top of trends in the cyber security marketing landscape, especially when it comes to google search and SEO.
  • Collaborative and honest - work with integrity, sharing best practices and new insights

Preferred qualifications:

  • Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where changes happen quickly
  • Know PPC inside and out 
  • Have an up-to-date, working knowledge of current, past and projected SEO trends 
  • Can demonstrate previous success executing SEO & Paid Search tactics that drive pipeline
  • A highly collaborative approach towards work, and a focus on collectively achieving ambitious goals

We are located in Ann Arbor, Michigan but open to hiring this position to be located 100% remote.
