Centennial Bank is Hiring a Project Manager Near Conway, AR

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for effectively managing, documenting, communicating, and implementing projects for Home BancShares Inc (HBI), Centennial Bank, and other HBI affiliates according to bank-approved policies and procedures. This position facilitates project outcomes according to the agreed-upon scope, schedule, quality, business case objectives, change control requirements, and stakeholder value. The PM collaborates with all levels of personnel and management within the Bank and external third parties (vendors) to manage time, resources, and content constraints.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Leads and facilitates project teams comprised of members from business units across the Bank plus any external vendors required to ensure team members remain engaged and accountable to project scope, plan tasks, deliverables, and due dates throughout the life of the project, and escalate issues as needed. This duty is performed daily, about 30% of the time.
2. Oversees project team members to proactively ensure effective communication and documentation of key aspects of the project throughout its lifecycle, including (but not limited to) the project charter, requirements, solutions, plans, registers, change controls, and all approvals and signoffs. This duty is performed daily, about 30% of the time.
3. Serves as the primary resource of the Bank's Project Management policy, procedure, and methodology, including ensuring that project team members have appropriate access to, training in, and engagement with project management software (PPM). This duty is performed daily, about 30% of the time.
4. Demonstrates and continually develops leadership and change management skills. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.
5. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. This duty is performed daily.
6. Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned. This duty is performed quarterly.
7. Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four-year college degree, plus 5 years related experience and/or training, and 2 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and understand general business/company related articles and professional journals; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Supervises a small group (1-3) of employees in the same or lower classification. Assigns and checks work; assists and instructs as required, but performs same work as those supervised, or closely related work, most of the time. Content of the work supervised is of a non-technical nature and does not vary in complexity to any great degree.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Required education and experience:
-Five (5) years of related experience and/or training
-Two (2) years of related management and/or supervisory experience
-Five (5) years of project management experience in a conversion and systems implementation environment.
-Experience in bank operations and a thorough understanding of transaction processing applications and concepts.
-Ability to coordinate and negotiate with all levels of management and employees.
-Ability to use MS Office applications to prepare presentations/materials and track projects using Microsoft Projects.
-Must be able to understand the entire data processing process and structure to ensure that all issues are adequately addressed.
Preferred education and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent business experience.
-Experience in managing Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid projects
