Develops and implements appropriate positive behavior support programs relative to student needs
Coordinate and/or provide social/behavioral instruction
Acts as a consultant to support the educational programming in regards to the social/behavioral needs of students assigned to Centennial School District Programs.
Provides training to staff on various topics such as data collection methods, and behavior management strategies
Assists in planning curriculum, lessons and other instructional materials according to achievement/behavioral levels of students.
Observes, evaluates and prepares reports on progress of students.
Provide basic instruction to students in accord with district policy
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in fields consistent with BACB criteria
Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Preferred Experience & Skills
2-3 years' experience as a Behavior Analyst, preferably in a public school
Knowledge of current Federal and PA Special Education regulations, Functional Behavioral Analysis, data collection procedures and development of individual, classroom and system-wide behavior plans.
Experience and proficiency in implementing positive behavior support plans
Ability to communicate effectively
Effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to collaborate with students, parents, team members and administrators
Work independently and assist teams in making data-driven decisions to support students
Shift Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $50,662 to $78,110 (rates of 7/1/19-6/30/2024 CEA)Location: Administration Building
