This part-time position will begin at 8-10 hours per week and build over time, possibly up to 20 or more hours per week.

We serve children with neurodiverse needs and their families. The medical and behavioral health insurance billing position is a central and vital support to our clinicians. The position can be done remotely.

The CDPL Insurance Billing Specialist will have:

• Excellent communication skills - responsive, accurate and helpful
• Experience in billing for developmental services such as ABA and behavioral health
• Prior experience in paneling clinicians to new private insurance carriers
• Expertise in processing claims, denials, helping families with information on their plans if needed.
• Familiarity with new insurance billing practices, regulations.
• Facility with Excel, Word, Dropbox and responsiveness/comfort with technology
• Basic Bookkeeping skills - quickbooks - desirable
• Light Assistance with Bookkeeper or Office Manager with any tasks related to invoicing, private pay, insurance billing, payroll processing, including: gathering of timesheets and invoices, printing them, ensuring that all timesheets and invoices from all employees and contractors are in at the specified time.
• Willingness to learn other areas of insurance billing and paneling as needed.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
