Center for Human Development is Hiring a STAR Psychiatric Day Treatment program manager Near Springfield, MA

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • To treat the participants with dignity and respect at all times
  • Directing and supervising all aspects of the program
  • Personnel management
  • Fiscal administration of the program
  • Help to develop and implement the programs marketing plan.
  • Supervision and evaluation of staff
  • Coordination of new admissions and transportation
  • To work with families and caregivers in a professional manner
  • Oversight of the safety and emergency plan and procedures for the program
  • Facilitate weekly program meeting.
  • Attend participant's care plan meetings/ resource meetings.
  • Establish collaborative relationships to ensure that necessary support services are available to members and their families.
  • Provide direct care as needed.
  • Inform supervisor when there is staffing issues or concerns.
  • To follow policies and procedures.
  • Maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Actively participate in all aspects of licensing.
  • To attend agency meetings and trainings as required.
  • To report incidents, suspicions and accidents
  • Coordination of transportation services
  • To perform all other duties assigned.
  1. MINIMUM QUALIFIATIONS:
Qualifications:
  • Two-year managerial experience and two years' experience as a licensed clinician professional or volunteer position.
  • CPR and First Aid
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with the public, participants and staff.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience with community based programs.
  • Computer literacy is a must.
  • Committed to helping to integrate the participants into the community at large.
  • Committed to empowering the participants to live the most dignified and meaningful life.
  • The ability to adapt to change.
